Granules India’s paracetamol unit clears USFDA inspection

Granules India Ltd’s paracetamol facility here has passed a US FDA inspection. The facility has the world’s largest single API production line by volume.

Hyderabad-based Granules’ four API facilities have successfully passed US FDA inspections in the past 12 months. All of Granules’ facilities including its finished dosage and PFI facility are approved by leading regulatory agencies including the U.S. FDA, EDQM, Health Canada and Korean FDA.

Granules’s scrip gained 2.83 per cent to end at Rs 407.40 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday.
