Grey Group, a WPP company has agreed to acquire over 75 per cent stake in Bengaluru-based, Autumn Worldwide, an independent social media and digital marketing agency.
Founded in 2005 by Anusha Shetty and Abhay Rajankar as a boutique advertising firm, Autumn Worldwide expanded into a full fledged social media and digital marketing agency in 2011 which services over 90 clients including PepsiCo (all 26 brands such as Mountain Dew, Quaker Oats etc), the Reckitt Benckiser Group (Mortein, Durex, Dettol, Moov, etc), Samsonite, Tata Salt, Raymond, Luminous and Freecharge.
Autumn provides digital & social media campaigns, influencer & blogger marketing, content marketing, online reputation management, marketing big data & insights, as well as Command Centre Management Services, which is set up at the client site manned by Autumn to pull out real-time data in order to take real-time action for the client.
“We offer high end data mining of social media across multiple platforms along with digital creatives. Our team has worked with Grey on a few projects, and discussions have been on for the past year for Grey to acquire majority stake in Autumn” Anusha Shetty, founder CEO, Autumn Worldwide told BusinessLine.
