GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare posted a net profit of ₹180.68 crore for the quarter ended March 2016, down 8.18 per cent against ₹196.78 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income decreased to ₹ 1,166.4 crore from ₹ 1,275 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, net profit grew by 17.7 per cent to ₹686.91 crore . Total income grew marginally to ₹4,587.4 crore in the period up from ₹ 4,529.4 crore in the previous fiscal.
