GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd has posted a net profit of ₹ 219 crore for the quarter ended September 30, up about 37 per cent against ₹ 160.29 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Though the company saw marginal increase in gross sales of 5 per cent to ₹ 1,191 crore. “Our financial performance has been consistent which exhibits consumer confidence in our brands…We have observed that the inflation rates have been low in the past few quarters and consumer confidence is gradually on the rise,” said Manoj Kumar, Managing Director, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd.
