Hatsun Agro Product has commenced operations at its expanded cattle feed plant in south Tamil Nadu.
It has established a new production line at ₹ 60 crore taking the total capacity to 1,000 tonnes a day from the existing 550 tonnes at the factory located near Palani.
Hatsun Agro listed on the NSE markets the cattle feed under the brand Santosa.
The expansion will support the growing demand from dairy farmers in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra, said a press release from the company.
RG Chandramogan, Chairman and Managing Director, said in the release, “cattle feed is a key component of our support service to farmers.
Santosa cattlefeed has the best of ingredients and essential nutrients to improve cattle health and milk yield.”
Raw materials and finished products are tested to ensure highest standards of quality.
