Havells India Ltd is looking at a ₹1,000 crore revenue from building circuit protection devices over the next three years.
“The organised switchgear market in India is estimated to be ₹2,200 crore per annum and the company continues to retain the No 1 position in the category with about 27 per cent market share,” said Vivek Yadav, Sr Vice President, Buildings Segment, Havells India Ltd.
He was in Kochi in connection with the launch of technologically advanced MCB's and RCCB's with enhanced features and six years warranty.
“The new range of MCB's and RCCB's are manufactured at the plant in Baddi where the company has enhanced its manufacturing capacities to six million poles per month,” he said. The new range of devices are designed keeping in mind user safety, threat of any current leakage, and short circuit overload, he added.
