HBL Power Systems Limited has posted a lower profit of ₹5.94 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2018 as against a profit of ₹10.21 crore for the corresponding quarter of previous financial year.
The Hyderabad-based batteries maker and power systems solutions provider also saw its total income for the second quarter lower at ₹ 334.27 crore as against the income of ₹445.27 crore for the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
Last financial year ended March 31, 2018, the company had closed with a profit of ₹29.65 crore and a total income of ₹1646.83 crore.
HBL Power shares closed the day at ₹31.10, down 1 per cent on the BSE.
