Global nutrition company Herbalife has announced renewal of its brand endorsement partnership with Indian badminton ace, Saina Nehwal.
The badminton champ has been a sponsored sportsperson for Herbalife since 2009.
Herbalife, which has in its portfolio brands such as Formula 1 nutritional shake and Afresh energy drinks, sells its products through a network of over 1.9 million independent distributors worldwide.
Founded by Mr Mark Hughes in California in 1980, the NYSE-listed company was acquired by an investor group led by Whitney & Co and Golden Gate Capital in 2002.
Mr Ajay Khanna, Country Head, Herbalife India, said the company will provide Saina all the support she requires during her preparations for the London Olympics scheduled for July 2012.
