Heavy Plates and Vessels Plant (formerly BHPV), a unit of BHEL, is likely to get more orders for manufacturing compact heat exchangers for light combat aircraft from the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. The unit is being modernised with an investment of ₹230 crore and the project may be completed by March. It will help the unit in meeting the challenges of future, improving its delivery schedule and increasing its turnover, BHEL General Manager and in-charge of HPVP J Sankaran said on Monday.The company has so far bagged orders to the tune of ₹20 crore.
