As many as 48 HSBC branches across 26 cities is organising Helping Hands Mela 2015 from November 2 to 9. During the event, the bank invites local NGOs to visit the branches for displaying their products, arts and craft designs. It gives NGOs and communities an opportunity to sell their products to customers as well as the general public. The proceeds of the sale go towards supporting a charitable cause in communities where the NGO has a presence. This is the 15th year of the Mela and over 100 NGOs will be participating, a press release said.
