Hungama.com on Friday said it has launched a music application. The application will be available for download across Apple (iOS), Android and Blackberry 10 platforms. The application allows video streaming too.
While the app can be downloaded for free, users will be charged for downloading music and videos. Android users will be charged Rs 50/month for downloading videos, while iOS will be charged Rs 110/month. Songs are chargeable at Rs 5 per song.
The app also introduces a loyalty feature that rewards a user for every action. Users can earn (and redeem) points by watching videos, playing/sharing music, inviting friends or even in creating playlists. The app has a Mood Discovery feature that finds and plays music to match the user’s mood.
