Hyderabad Angels, which has a pool of 65 investors, has committed an investment of Rs 6 crore in the last five months.
“During January-May, in the first five months of this year (January till May), we have committed an investment of Rs 6 crore. We have already issued term sheets to three companies and are in the process of issuing two more term sheets in a week,” P S Sreekanth, Investment Director at Hyderabad Angles, said here in a statement.
“We have so far invested Rs 15 crore in 11 start-ups in the last four years. Our current portfolio is a mix of business-to-business and business-to-consumer firms, covering a range of industry verticals. The list includes GIBSS, Thrillophilia, Online Prasad and NowFloats,” he said.
“We expect that by end of this year, close to 50 per cent of our current portfolio companies would have raised their next round of funding,” Daggubati Suresh Babu, Vice-Chairman of Hyderabad Angles, said.
