The India Chapter of the International Advertising Association has decided to present the IAA Olive Crown Awards on April 1 at the Shangri-la Hotel, in downtown Parel, Mumbai.
Earlier this year and for the first time, the India chapter of IAA had called for entries from all over Asia.
Srinivasan K. Swamy, President, IAA, noted that these are India’s first and only awards that salute excellence in communicating sustainability. Praful Patel, Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, is to be the chief guest at the event.
M.G. Parameswaran, Chairman, IAA Olive Crown Awards Committee, noted that the number of entries had registered a satisfying increase, given that they were from across Asia.
Pradeep Guha, Vice-Chairman of the Association added that it was for the first time the IAA had collaborated with the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations. Such regional cooperation is the shape of things to come, he said.
