A joint venture of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd and Unitech Power Transmission Ltd has received a supply contract from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd for 765 kv Bhuj-Banaskanta Tranmission Line associated with Green Energy Corridor.
This Inter-State Transmission scheme, along with a contract for construction work of this line in Gujarat, is to be completed in 23 months. The project contract is estimated to be Rs 136.26 crore.
IL&FS Engineering Services, lead partner in the contract, has been awarded the contract under the international competitive bidding process.
