In its bid to make investment in capital markets simple for the growing number of investors, Bengaluru-based investment platform Groww has launched Stocks Investing.

Stating that the launch would open up a delightful experience to millions of new age investors, Lalit Keshre, co-founder and CEO of Groww, said: “We started working on the platform almost 2 years ago. Users of our platform evinced interest to invest in stocks and ETFs. We began a phased roll out by inviting early investors at the start of the year. Over one lakh investors have opened stocks account on invitation and we have done more than 2 million transactions so far. The platform will be open to all users in the coming weeks.”

Keshre further explained that on Groww, investors would be able to view all information about the company’s statistics such as financial performance, shareholding patterns, peer comparisons and so on at one place.

“We will be adding more features in the coming weeks including intraday trading, F&O, besides facilitating users to invest in international stocks and ETFs. Investors would be able to see all their holdings on a single dashboard and track the performance in real time, besides learning about stock investment on the platform.”

Groww creates content via videos, blogs, in-app content to educate investors, the CEO said.

The firm is backed by marquee investors such as Sequoia, Ribbit, YCombinator and Mukesh Bansal.
