Isobar, part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, has launched an e-commerce practice in India. Last year, it had launched a global practice.

“We are combining the strengths of three agencies in the Isobar Group,” Shamsuddin Jasani, Managing Director, Isobar India, told BusinessLine . “We have Isobar India, Fractal Ink Design Studio, which specialises in user experience, user interface design and digital design strategy services, as well as Isobar Commerce, which has some awesome development capabilities specific for e-commerce clients.”

Isobar Commerce operates in the UK and the US. “We are now bringing the work to India and leveraging the capabilities of all the three,” Jasani said.

The integrated offering in India will be delivered through its 150 e-commerce specialists, in addition to 450 people from the design specialists of Fractal Ink, and innovative marketing and media specialists of Isobar India, according to the company.

The new practice will look to deliver commerce experiences with technology players such as Salesforce, Adobe, SAP Hybris and Magento.

With India’s e-commerce market value projected to grow 30 per cent annually to $200 billion by 2026, according to a Morgan Stanley report, Jasani says there could not be a better time to launch this practice here.

“The potential is huge. We will help companies leverage the ecosystem. A case in point is the Single Day sales in China which was worth $18-20 billion. Worldwide the e-commerce industry has gone through a boom, though it is still at a nascent stage in India, but the potential here is explosive,” he said.
