Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd reported 18 per cent decline in the second quarter to September 30, 2015 at Rs 32.26 crore against Rs 39.31 crore shown in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income from operation, however, stood higher at Rs 214.66 crore (Rs 208.72 crore). From October 1, the company said, subject to approvals, the sugar division of the company would stand demerged. The Rs 5 Jay Shree stock closed at Rs 70.20, up 1.08 per cent on BSE.
