JK Tyre & Industries on Wednesday said that it has appointed Vivek Kamra as its President – India. The appointment comes in the wake of Arun K Bajoria’s elevation to the role of ‘Director and President – International Operations’, the company said in a statement.
With an experience of over 20 years with the company, Bajoria will be leading JK Tyre’s international operations including ‘JK Tornel, Mexico’ and special strategic assignments, it said.
“I am sure that Kamra will provide adept leadership and lead JK Tyre on a new growth trajectory,” Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, JK Tyre said.
Kamra joins JK Tyre with an experience in spearheading businesses for almost a decade. Prior to joining JK Tyre, he was based in Singapore as President and CEO, NatSteel Holding Pte Limited.
He has attended Business Management programme at INSEAD – the Business School for the World. He holds a BTech degree from IIT Mumbai and did Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
