After driving growth and sales in India for almost 6 years, Japanese camera major Nikon's Managing Director Hiroshi Takashina is moving to head the company's Chinese arm. Takashina moves to China as Managing Director of Nikon Imaging (China) Sales Co., Ltd, Shanghai, from July 1, 2015.
Kazuo Ninomiya, currently General Manager of Nikon Singapore, who is handling all Asian sales operations including India, will take over the Indian operations from June 15, 2015.
Takashina, in a mail to all the stakeholders, said that, "as Ninomiya-san is well aware of our operations in India, I have a strong confidence that he will lead Nikon team to support you and continue our strong No.1 position in the market forever."
