Kemrock Industries and Exports Ltd (KIEL), manufacturers of fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, on Wednesday launched a range of carbon fibre products for industrial applications, including for public sector Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), under the brand name Jaitec.
The products were launched by Mr Ashok Nayak, Chairman, HAL. Kemrock and HAL had signed an MoU for manufacturing carbon fibre prepregs.
He said HAL was, initially, contemplating to have the prepreg manufacturing facility at its Bangalore facility but later decided that Kemrock could do it, according to a press release.
On Wednesday, KIEL’s share price on the BSE closed 0.70 per cent up at Rs 508. Its securities are listed on the NSE and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
Headquartered in Vadodara, KIEL offers an integrated range of raw materials and engineered composites products. Established in 1981 as a small start-up and incorporated in 1991, the company offers integrated solutions – from design to delivery—and has a product presence in over 50 countries.
