Kitex Garments has registered 73 per cent increase in its net profit at ₹99 crore in FY 2014-15 against ₹57 crore in the previous fiscal.
The company has achieved an all time high performance both in turnover and its profits with the revenue recorded ₹525 crore, a 15 per cent growth over last year and the profit before interest depreciation and taxes registering ₹182 crore, a growth of 69 per cent.
The earnings per share of ₹1 during the year were ₹20.74 against ₹12.08. The directors have recommended a dividend of 125 per cent (₹1.25 per equity share of ₹1) for this year. The share price of the company rose by six times from ₹89 on March 31, 2014 to ₹534 as on March 31 this year, a company statement said.
Kitex Garments is the first among listed companies to publish the audited financial results in the country consistently for the third year in a row.
The company has achieved these levels of performance by technology upgradation and high level of productivity in operations. Kitex quality level is ranked highest in the international market. It is the third largest manufacturing facility in infants wear segment globally and the company aspires to become global no.1 by 2018.
The clientele included Gerber, Toys R Us, Jockey, Carters, Mothercare and The Childrens Place all of whom are among the 10 biggest international buyers.
