L&T secures orders worth Rs 1,178 cr in Dec

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged orders worth Rs 1,178 crore across various segments so far this month.

“The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 1,178 crore across various businesses in December 2015”, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

The company said its Metallurgical and Material Handling business has secured orders worth Rs 663 crore while its Power Transmission and Distribution business has won orders worth Rs 515 crore in both international and domestic markets.

Shares of Larsen & Toubro were trading at Rs 1,294.60 apiece, up 1.14 per cent, from their previous close on the BSE.
