Lanco Infratech Ltd had made an application to the Registrar of Companies, Hyderabad, requesting an extension to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The Registrar of Companies, Hyderabad has considered the company application and granted an extension of three months to hold the AGM, from September 30, 2017.

Following the developments and RoC nod, the AGM of the company will be held on or before December 31, 2017, it informed BSE.

The extension was sought on the grounds that the National Company Law Tribunal, Hyderabad bench, had initiated a corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) against the company through its order on August 7, 2017.

The powers of the Board have been suspended and are being exercised by Savan Godiawala, Resolution Professional of the company.

The Resolution Professional is currently in the process of procuring the audited financial statements and obtaining requisite confirmations and representations for the same to be presented in the AGM.
