Plans to invest ₹8-10 crore to expand to 50 stores from four now

Hong Kong-based Nexstgo proposes to invest ₹8-10 crore this fiscal to expand its retail presence to 50 brand stores in India.

The company, which launched its range of laptops in India in January this year, currently has four brand stores and aims to reach the 50 mark by December this year, company officials told BusinessLine.

Nextsgo claims to have sold close to 20,000 laptops in India so far and is targeting another 100,000 unit sales in the next six months, Alex Chung, Co-Founder and CEO, Nexstgo, said. The company is bringing its new laptop line-up, recently showcased in Taiwan. It currently imports its products from Hong Kong.

Other focus areas

Internet of Things (IoT) and connected products are other focus areas for the company here. The company is already selling IoT products at its brands stores. “We have just started selling smart mirrors. We are targeting all the three-star and four-star hotels,” said Seema Bhatnagar, Country General Manager for Nexstgo.

“There is a huge demand in the market for IoT. You will see us launching many more products in the IoT segment,” Bhatnagar added.
