Companies opens fulfilment centre in AP

Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh has got the biggest fulfilment centre in South India of Palred Technologies, which owns and operates, an e-commerce portal specialising in mobile and technology accessories.

Through its subsidiary, Palred Technology Services, the Hyderabad-based firm has added a 18,000 sqft centre in Kurnool, Rayalseema. The Fulfilment Centre will initially ship 3,000 B2C orders daily to customers in southern States, besides Maharashtra. It has the capacity to scale up to 10,000 orders a day.

Customers in tier I and tier II towns will receive their shipments in 24-72 hours from the time of placing the order.

Palem Srikanth Reddy, Chairman and MD, Palred Technologies, said: “We have recruited and trained 40 executives to run the fulfilment centre. This will increase to 100 in future as we start receiving more orders. This operation will not only act as a fulfilment centre, but also be used to create opportunities in rural BPO in future.”
