Footwear firm Liberty Shoes today reported 15.51 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 4.17 crore for the third quarter ended December 2014.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 3.61 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 144.37 crore, up 20.50 per cent as against Rs 119.8 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
The company said it added 53 stores in the current fiscal.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, the company said the existing business arrangements with Liberty Enterprises and Liberty Group Marketing Division under which two manufacturing facilities at Gharaunda and Karnal including their distribution networks and license usage of sub brands, will expire on March 31, 2015.
