Textile machinery manufacturing major Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) has unveiled five new machines at the Intec 2015 expo at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore. The new launches include a new variant of the LX series CNC Lathe (tailor-made to meet the needs of the auto industry and job shops), LTV 30 (vertical turning lathe), LR30TML 7 (a heavy duty Turnmill centre) and vertical machining centres such as JV 55, JV Kraft and the JV 100. The machinery manufacturing major has also started to offer its Smarturn CNC Lathe booking online. Stating that this CNC lathe would address the needs of the small scale sector and for mass production of high quality small components for the two wheeler industry, hydraulic fittings, bearings and fasteners, Director Finance R Rajendran Rajendran said “it is also priced competitively.”
