Lokesh Machines Limited has signed up with Taiwanese company Tongtai Machine & Tool Co Ltd to manufacture hi-speed vertical machining centremodel EZ5 for the Indian market and for exports.
The company made the announcement during the ongoing machine tool fair IMTEX 2017 in Bengaluru. Under the agreement, Lokesh Machines plans to manufacture the model at its new facility at Kallakal near here.

With a wide portfolio of products, the company has been supplying several critical machines to the Indian automobile, energy, aerospace industries, and exporting machines to Japan, Germany, Italy, Russia, China and other European countries. The company expects to leapfrog its technological capability with some ultra-high speed machines for new-age metals and products.
Tongtai is one of the leading machine tool companies in Taiwan and ranks among the top machine tool companies in the world, having manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, France and Austria.
