Tractors and farm equipment manufacturer TAFE Ltd on Friday announced the appointment of Mallika Srinivasan as its Chairperson.
Ms Mallika, who was the Chief Executive of TAFE, is the wife of TVS Motor Company Managing Director Venu Srinivasan. Ms Mallika is the daughter of eminent industrialist and Amalgamations Group Chairman A Sivasailam, who passed away on January 13.
Ms Mallika, on her new post would continue to discharge her present duties as Chief Executive of the two companies, it said.
“While we miss our late Chairman’s leadership, we are confident that Ms Mallika Srinivasan, as our new Chairman, will continue to provide the dynamic leadership, path breaking ideas and astute strategy to take us forward on our exciting growth plans for the future,” the company said.
