Fruit juice player Manpasand Beverages Ltd on Thursday reported an over four-fold jump in net profit and 31.79 per cent rise in sales in the second quarter of 2015-16, ended September 30, as compared with the corresponding period last fiscal.
While the net profit stood at Rs.4.38 crore (Rs 89 lakh), net sales were Rs 81.51 crore (Rs 61.85 crore), Dhirendra Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, said in a statement.
He said the firm’s expansion plans, including setting up of a new manufacturing at Ambala in Haryana and modernisation of the Vadodara and Varanasi facilities are progressing. It also has a plant at Dehradun.
Recently, Manpasand had tied up with ice cream and food retailing major Havmor Ice Cream Ltd and is exploring more such tie ups to penetrate urban markets.
The Rs 400 crore Manpasand Beverages is the only pure play company in this sector in the Indian capital markets.
