Leading fruit juice player Manpasand Beverages Ltd on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 4.92 crore for the third quarter of 2015-16 ended December 31, 2015, against a net loss of Rs 2.59 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Net sales for Q3FY15 were Rs 89.91 crore, higher by 76 per cent over previous fiscal’s same quarter net sales of Rs 51.05 crore, Dhirendra Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, said in a statement.

He said the expansion plans, including setting up of a new manufacturing facility in Haryana and modernisation of Vadodara and Varanasi facilities, have been completed.

During the quarter, the company entered into a tie up with a German wholesale retail and trading major, Metro Cash & Carry, and is exploring more such tie-ups to increase its urban market penetration.

Manpasand also became a completely ‘debt-free’ company by pre-paying its entire outstanding debt from the IPO proceeds and internal accruals, he added.
