MCX has reported a loss of ₹34 crore in the June quarter against net profit of ₹23 crore due to the provisions of ₹59 crore due to fall in value of its stake in the Metropolitan Stock Exchange. The commodity exchange's income was up eight per cent at ₹82 crore (₹76 crore). Its EBITDA increased 25 per cent to ₹45 crore. Profit for the quarter before the one-time provision was up seven per cent at ₹25 crore. Shares of the company were up one per cent at ₹1,119 on Friday.
