German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz has launched the new E63 AMG in India.
The new car has a new engine, new Intelligence Assistance Systems and a new design idiom. It combines the attributes of a sports car with the practicality of a luxury sedan, Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said.
The new vehicle is equipped with the AMG 5.5-litre V8 BITURBO engine with a displacement of 5461 cc, the 8-cylinder engine develops a peak output of 410 kW (557 hp) @5500 rpm and a torque of 720 Nm @ 1750-5250. It also achieves acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and the top speed is 250 km/h (electronically limited).
The features include 7-speed sports transmission and a fuel consumption of 9.8 litres per 100 kilometres.
The price of the new E 63 AMG is Rs 1,29,00,000 ex-Showroom Delhi.
