Tyre maker MRF’s sustained growth in net profit continues with the company reporting a 45 per cent jump in net profit in the fourth quarter compared with the previous corresponding quarter.
MRF reported a net profit of ₹460.73 crore (₹316.91 crore) on a total income of ₹3,329.50 crore (₹3,361.12 crore) for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The company, which followed an October-September financial year previously, has extended the current financial year period by six months up to March 31, 2015.
For the year-to-date ending September 30, 2015, the company reported a net profit of ₹1,563.67 crore (₹897.89 crore in financial year 2013-14) on a total income of ₹13,533.49 crore (₹13,197.58 crore).
