Online fashion portal Myntra, a part of e-commerce player Flipkart, is expecting a 5x growth in sales during this festival season.

Myntra is also participating in its parent’s annual festive sale, Big Billion Days (BBD), to be held between October 2 and 6.

The company, which acquired its closest rival Jabong a few months ago, is investing heavily in ramping up its designs and styles. Myntra is offering up to 70 per cent discount on 2.5 lakh styles during this period.

Myntra will offer customers the best of brands, including some of its own, such as Roadster, HRX, Dressberry, Anouk, and exclusive partners such as Alcott, Forever 21, Marks & Spencer and French Connection.

It is also Myntra’s biggest sale season after it revoked its app-only strategy this year.

An interesting aspect of this year’s Big Billion Days is a new feature that will enable customers to compare the prices of products during the sale, with that of its original price tag, post sale, allowing them to make better purchase decisions.

Myntra has also done advanced analytics to predict shopper preferences and procure high sell-through marketplace items to enable faster delivery during the festive season.

Ananth Narayanan, CEO, Myntra, said, “Myntra is geared up to be a part of this season’s BBD with Flipkart. Our goal is to continue to delight customers while maintaining the current NPS which is among the highest in the industry, even during the sale. We have put in place several innovative features to enhance customer experience and have augmented our logistical capabilities to manage approximately two lakh deliveries per day. ”
