NCC Ltd has posted a net profit of ₹54.95 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2015, against a profit of ₹22.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year on a standalone basis, registering a growth of 148 per cent.
The Hyderabad-based infrastructure company achieved a turnover of ₹2147.98 crore (including other income) for the second quarter against ₹2284.43 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On a consolidation basis, the company has reported a turnover of ₹2420.60 crore for the second quarter against ₹2571.57 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The reported EBIDTA was ₹275.10 crore and net profit was ₹41.20 crore against ₹260.38 crore and net loss of ₹3.16 crore, respectively, in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The total order book stands at ₹19,545 crore as of October 2015. NCC has approved the appointment of S Ravi, Senior Advocate, as an Additional Director (Independent Director) on the company board.
In addition, Hemant M Nerurkar, Non-Executive and Independent Director of the company has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board, NCC informed.
