NCC has achieved a net profit of Rs 56.64 crore during the third quarter, up 35 per cent, against a net profit of Rs 42.02 crore in the corresponding quarter last year on a standalone basis.
During the quarter, the Hyderabad-based construction company's turnover was lower at Rs 2,095.52 crore against Rs 2,407.14 crore in the same period of the previous year.
For the nine months ended December 2015, the company earned relatively lower revenues of Rs 6,018.03 crore against Rs 6,226.80 crore in the same period previous year. The net profit was up at Rs 152.80 against Rs 61.11 crore.
On a consolidated basis, NCC Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 40.37 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2015 against a net profit of Rs 25.57 crore during the corresponding period last year.
The turnover stood at Rs 2,416.24 crore duringr the third quarter against Rs 2,669.65 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
For the nine months ended December 2015, NCC reported a turnover of Rs 6,883.59 crore against Rs 7,069.77 crore. The company registered a net profit of Rs 84.15 crore against Rs 1.89 crore.
During the third quarter, NCC secured orders worth Rs 2,310 crore and in January 2016, new orders worth Rs 1,873 crore were added. With this, the order book stands at Rs.19,470 crore as of January 31, 2016.
