Mumbai-based Lupin Ltd has appointed Maurice Chagnaud as its President, Europe, and the Head of Strategy for its inhaler drugs business in developed markets.
The role will expect Chagnaud to devise strategy for its generic and specialty drugs verticals in the CIS region.
His previous stint was with Israeli drug-maker Teva, where he oversaw €1 billion in sales in central and eastern European operations as Senior Vice- President. Shamsher Gorawara, Head-Corporate Communications, said the post has been created to help the company consolidate its operations in Europe after it acquired a German drug-maker Hormosan Pharma in 2008.
