Mr Amol Newaskar took charge on Thursday as the new Director (Other Units) of Bharat Electronics Ltd. He heads eight units located at Ghaziabad, Panchkula, Navi Mumbai, Kotdwara, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Machilipatnam, a BEL statement said. Prior to this Mr Newaskar was General Manager, Military Communication unit at the Bangalore complex. An electronics engineer from Indore, he joined the BEL R&D division at Bangalore in 1978. —
