The country's largest iron ore producer NMDC has concluded a contract agreement for project management and construction management services for its upcoming steel plant with Mecon. The three-million-tonne steel plant will have a latest thin slab caster. The implementation schedule is 48 months, involving an investment of about Rs 15,500 crore.
