Nordic air-carrier Finnair's customers will now be check-in, edit flight bookings and access information on various stages of travel with their mobile phones.

Finnair has launched a service that will provide travel-related services and comprehensive guidelines and tips to its customers, the carrier said in statement on Thursday.

“We want to offer customers increasingly flexible and diverse services, which will also be accessible to more customers than before,” said the Finnair Senior Vice-President (Customer Service), Mr Anssi Komulainen.

The mobile service can be used on over 3,000 different mobile phones by logging on to m.finnair.com.

Customers can also view information relating more than 50 destinations and maps of more than 40 airports.

The mobile service will be available in 14 languages in 36 countries.
