Lifestyle solutions company H&R Johnson (India) opens Experience Centre in Coimbatore, the second such store in Tamil Nadu following Chennai centre in November last year.
Anoop Sreekumar, Senior Vice-President – Sales and Marketing, H&R Johnson, was in the city at the inauguration of the company's 'Experience Centre' at Elysium Towers on Park Gate Road in Coimbatore.
“Product innovation will be our key focus this year,” Sreekumar said.
Elaborating on the company's focus, particularly in the tile segment, he said: “We have been investing quite a sum on large format tiles (1200-2400 mm), Kinar tiles, wall tile and tiles with different texture and feel. We recently introduced the step tile. In the past, tiles were used more as a hygiene product, but this perception has changed over the years,” he added.
Spanning over 6400 sq feet space, the centre will also has an advanced 3D Virtual Reality Platform after unveiling a similar platform in its Chennai centre.
The tile manufacturer is planning to open experiential stores in Madurai and Trichy and looking to open 25 such centres before the end of 2025.
“These are not sales outlets, but experiential stores that enable the customer find new ideas and suggestions for designing different spaces. This experience has helped elevate the buying and selection process for home solutions and serves as a one-stop shop for planning and designing residential and commercial spaces,” he added.
The annual production capacity of the plant is 70 million square metres.
