Mr. Arup Roy Choudary, the Chairman and Managing Director of the NTPC, along with Mr. N.N Mishra, the Director (Operations), visited the Simhadri power plant here on Thursday and reviewed the progress of the expansion project.
NTPC Simhadri generates 1,000 MWs at present and expansion project in execution is meant to double the capacity.
Mr D.K Sood, the General Manager in charge of the plant, showed the CMD and the Director (Operations) around the plant.
