NTPC Ltd has paid an interim dividend of ₹ 2,951.88 crore to its shareholders for the financial year 2018-2019. This is 35.80 per cent of the paid-up equity share capital of the company.
A company statement said that the centre will get ₹1,739.61 crore of this interim dividend. An RTGS advice for the same was presented to the Minister of State (Independent Charge), R K Singh by the NTPC management on Friday. This is the 26th consecutive year that NTPC has paid dividend
