Pennar Industries Ltd has bagged orders worth Rs 50 crore for cold formed profiles, tubes and engineered components.
The Hyderabad-based company bagged these orders from Integral Coach Factory, Texmaco, J Kumar Infra Projects, ALF Engineering, IVRCL, and IJM Infrastructure.
Order from ICF, Chennai, a unit of Indian Railways, is for supply of railway coach sections and sub-assemblies.
Order from Texmaco, a heavy engineering and steel foundry products company, is for rail wagons. In the case of J Kumar Infra Projects (Mumbai), the order entails supply of sheet piles for Delhi Metro Rail.
Other orders include one from ALF Engineering, an original equipment manufacturer of automotive chassis, for tubes for M&M body frames; IVRCL (Pune), an engineering procurement and construction company, for deck sheets for power projects; and IJM (India) Infrastructure Ltd, a Malaysian multinational for safety barriers, for its Vijayawada Road Project.
The company now has order book of Rs 225 crore.
Suhas Baxi, President and CEO of Pennar Industries, in a statement said: “These orders are reflective of stability in new orders and the backlog position. Our efforts at offering new products in the area of tubes and press metal components, along with a focus on solar projects, have helped in handling the market demand.’’
