Acclaimed Hindi film “Pink” actor Tapsee Pannu’s first television commercial (TVC) has been launched with her as the brand ambassador of ‘Fruits Up’, a beverage from India’s leading fruit juice player, Manpasand Beverages Ltd.

This is the first advertisement of the brand with Tapsee Pannu after she was signed up as the brand ambassador for the product in December 2016, said Abhishek Singh, Director, Manpasand Beverages, based at Vadodara.

Manpasand registered a turnover of Rs. 556 crore in FY2016. It is the only pure play company in this sector in the Indian capital market. Its primary focus is on mango fruit, which is the leading flavour for juice drinks in India, it said in a press release here on Wednesday.

Its flagship brand, ‘Mango Sip’, a mango-based fruit drink, had actor Sunny Deol as brand ambassador.

With ‘Fruits Up’, the company plans to capture part of the carbonated drinks market, estimated to be worth around Rs 25,000 crores per annum. Recently, the company entered into packaged tender coconut water segment through their new brand, ‘Coco Sip.’

Manpasand’s beverage brands have a presence in over 20 states of India through more than 200,000 retailers, over 2000 distributors and 200 plus super stockists. The company has two manufacturing facilities at Vadodara in Gujarat, one each at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and Dehradun in Uttaranchal and a new one is being set up at Ambala in Haryana.
