Puneet Gupta has joined Franke Asia, a global leader in kitchen appliances and take charge as Managing Director of Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd.
He succeeds Xavier Carlier who has been running the company ad interim over the past six months. These changes become effective December 1, 2015, as there will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition.
Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd is a market leader in India and plans to expand the nascent kitchen appliance industry and double the turnover in the next four years, the company said in a press release.
Prior to Franke, Gupta held various management positions at Whirlpool India for 11 years where he most recently worked as Vice -President Sales and earlier to this was with Nerolac for as many years. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Marketing from the University of Mumbai.
