Push Integrated Communications and AEON Infrastructure have launched an entertainment consortium for film production and distribution.
The consortium — Push Motion Picture Company & AEON Entertainment — plans to invest ₹100 crore in production and distribution of films in four Indian languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi) this year, VA Shrikumar Menon, Chairman and Managing Director of Push Motion Picture Company, said.
Every project will put together a team of upcoming as well as established directors and crew, talented scriptwriters and technical team to make quality films. AEON Infrastructure will pump in capital resources to build 10 multiplex screens across South India by the end of 2018, and 50 screens across the country by 2020, he said.
