Ramco Cements is upgrading its capacity at Jayanthipuram unit and has awarded a ₹22-crore contract to Petron Engineering and Construction. Petron Engineering has informed the BSE that it has received a Letter of Intent from Ramco Cements for civil and mechanical works for capacity up gradation of Line-1 cement plant and captive power plant at Jayanthipuram. The contract value is ₹22.5 crore.
