Ramky Infrastructure Ltd has bagged the Infrastructure Company of the year award in the special category of Infrastructure Excellence Awards 2012.
These awards were organised by Network 18 and presented by Essar Steel in association with CNBC TV 18. Ramky had earlier won an award from CNBC in 2009 for outstanding infrastructure projects.
According to a statement to the stock exchanges, Mr Y.R. Nagaraja, Managing Director of Ramky Infrastructure, was presented the award by Mr Kamal Nath, Minister for Urban Development, in New Delhi recently.
The Hyderabad-based diversified infrastructure company currently has an order book of Rs 14,229 crore.
